David’s passion for music started at the age of 4 and continues this very day. With over 35 years, David is regarded as one of the leading voice teachers in the DFW area.

David’s students include both beginners with huge dreams of performing and professional singers who have appeared in several Broadway shows including the recent productions Cats, The Phantom of The Opera, Aladdin, Hamilton, and Chicago.

David’s work with dozens of highly talented, college-bound voice students has seen great success with the results of admissions to the University of Michigan, Carnegie Mellon, Otterbein, Cincinnati Conservatory, Indiana University, and NYU Tisch – with his students receiving degrees in Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance & Acting. David’s students have also appeared on many local DFW stages including Casa Manana, Lyric Stage, Jubilee Theatre, Dallas Summer Musicals, and the Dallas Opera.

David has a Bachelor of Music Education and Masters Degree from the University of North Texas where he studied voice with the acclaimed Virginia Botkin. After David received his Masters degree, he studied with world-renowned accompanist/coach John Wustman, who accompanied many opera stars including Pavarotti.
